Resident Project Representative
Spotts, Stevens and McCoy is currently seeking a Resident Project Representative who will provide observation of construction of public works projects, including curb and sidewalk installations, bituminous paving projects, and utility installations such as storm sewer, stormwater management facilities, sanitary sewer and water mains, pump stations, and treatment plants, utility line testing, and general site work and grading. As a Resident Project Representative, you will use engineering skills to determine compliance with plans and specifications and other regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
2 years' experience in utility or heavy highway construction field preferred.
Previous water and wastewater treatment experience is a plus.
Experience in maintenance, construction inspection, construction plan review.
Certifications for inspection of bituminous paving, cement concrete, and utility installation is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, math, construction plans, and construction materials and techniques as it applies to the work environment.
