The EPWPCOA Biosolids Committee will present a webinar on Tuesday August 4 at 10:00 regarding the PADEP proposed revisions to the Biosolids Land Application Permits; Pag-07 and PAG-08. Presentations will be made by Trudy Johnston and Diane Garvey on the impacts of these changes on WRRFs that rely on Land Application for their biosolids management program. This will be followed by a panel discussion including representatives from various WRRFs.
Based on input from the participants, EPWPCOA plans to distribute a template for commenting to the PADEP during the week of August 10. Comments are due to PADEP by September 4, 2026. We strongly encourage EVERYONE to submit comments.
The permits are expected to be finalized sometime between December 2026 and April 2027.
