The Joint Municipal Authority of Wyomissing Valley, Berks County, is accepting applications for the position of Licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Applicants must have a Class B Type 1 license or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of employment. Job requirements include but are not limited to:
Collecting samples and performing basic laboratory test for NPDES Compliance.
Collecting and recording readings from gages, charts, instruments and control panels.
Skimming and hosing tanks, monitoring sludge levels in tanks, and operating and maintaining wastewater equipment used in treatment and solids handling.
Operate centrifuge and biosolids dryer.
Perform basic building and grounds maintenance including landscaping, mowing, painting, snow removal and cleaning.
Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some Weekend, Overtime and Holiday work required. EOE. To submit a resume and request an application form, please contact:
